I chose to study Computer Science and Cognitive Science at Rutgers to better understand how to develop technology that is practical and useful to real individuals.
Hey, I am Shiv and I am a Rutgers University student majoring in and . These two majors fit my interests in technology, , , and how humans interact with different environments.
I currently work at Rutgers Office of Information Technology as an Assistant Supervisor. I have developed communication, troubleshooting, leadership, and technical support skills that are especially useful in environments where is vital.
My goal is to develop applications that help people use technology safely and confidently. As technology becomes more connected, even a small vulnerability can create major risks. I want to build practical solutions that prevent attacks, protect users, and make digital systems more reliable.
